Privacy
Information on the processing of personal data of users visiting this website, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Data controller
The data controller is Felice Zingaro, based in Andria (BT), Italy (the “Controller”). Any communication concerning the processing of personal data may be sent to info@felicezingaro.it.
Cookies and storage technologies
The website stores in the user’s browser only the theme preference and the choice made regarding cookies. Google Analytics cookies are set only with prior consent, given through the cookie banner. The list of cookies, with their purposes and durations, is set out in the Cookie policy. The website contains no advertising; the only third-party content is the hCaptcha anti-spam check, loaded only when the CV request form is opened. Fonts are served directly by the website.
Visit statistics
Subject to the user’s consent, the website uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to produce aggregated statistics on visits, page views and how the website is used. Google collects browsing and interaction data (pages visited, sections viewed and time spent on them, scroll depth, clicks on links and buttons, start and outcome of CV requests, referring site, device and browser type, approximate city or region) associated with a random identifier stored in a cookie. Data entered in forms is never sent to Google; according to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google Signals, ad personalisation and any advertising use are disabled: the data is not used for profiling purposes. The legal basis for processing is the data subject’s consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which may be withdrawn at any time from the Cookie policy or via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Google acts as data processor; the data may also be processed in the United States by Google LLC, which is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Data is retained in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months. For further information, please refer to Google’s documentation on how it uses data.
Browsing data
The server hosting the website records certain technical data about incoming requests (IP address, date and time, resource requested, browser type). This data is processed solely to ensure the proper functioning and security of the website, is retained for a limited period and is not used to identify users. The legal basis for processing is the Controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Data provided voluntarily by the user
Sending an email or making a phone call involves the processing of the data provided by the user (name, email address, phone number, message content), which is used solely to respond to the request and, where applicable, to manage any subsequent working relationship. The legal basis for processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject’s request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is not disclosed to third parties.
CV requests
Downloading the CV requires the user’s name and email address and, optionally, company and message. This data is sent to the Controller by email, together with the website language and the page from which the form was submitted, in order to know who requested the document and, where appropriate, to follow up. The legal basis for processing is the data subject’s request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Emails pass through the mail service used by the Controller (Apple iCloud Mail) and are retained only for as long as necessary; the data subject may request their deletion at any time. The data is not disclosed to third parties.
Anti-spam protection
The CV request form is protected by hCaptcha, a service provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., to tell requests sent by people from automated ones. The service is loaded only when the form is displayed and collects technical data about the device and the interaction with the page (IP address, browser and device type, pointer movements and completion times). The name, email and other data entered in the form are not sent to hCaptcha. The legal basis for processing is the Controller’s legitimate interest in protecting the website from abuse and automated submissions (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data may be processed in the United States; Intuition Machines, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. For further information, please refer to hCaptcha’s privacy policy.
Links to external websites
The website contains links to other websites (LinkedIn, client websites, press articles). The Controller is not responsible for the processing carried out by those websites, whose own privacy policies apply.
Rights of the data subject
Data subjects may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) by sending a request to info@felicezingaro.it. Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
