Google Calendar → WhatsApp
Automatic WhatsApp reminders for medical practices. The doctor only uses Google Calendar, patients confirm or cancel by replying, and the event changes colour on its own.

Medical practices lose time and money on forgotten appointments, and phoning every patient to confirm does not scale. With this sync the doctor keeps working in their own Google Calendar only, and the system takes care of the rest.
How it works
- Reads the calendar. Every appointment that is created, moved or cancelled arrives at once as a push notification from Google. The patient's name comes from the event title, the phone number from the location field.
- Messages the patient on WhatsApp when the appointment is booked, moved or cancelled. Before the visit it sends a reminder, at a fixed time (say 9:00 the day before) or a set time ahead (say one hour before), configurable for each doctor.
- Reads the replies. "Ok", "yes" or "confirm" count as a confirmation, "no" or "cancel" as a cancellation. Either way the patient gets an acknowledgement.
- Colours the event in the calendar: red while waiting for a reply, green once confirmed, grey if cancelled, blue if the deadline passed with no answer. The doctor sees the day at a glance.
- Handles the deadline. At a set time (20:00 by default), tomorrow's appointments still without a reply become "unconfirmed" and the patient is told.
Multi-practice setup
One installation serves several practices, each with several doctors and one Google calendar per doctor. Reminder times, colours and which messages are active are configured per practice or per doctor from an admin dashboard. The texts are editable WhatsApp templates, filled with the patient's name, doctor, date and time. There is also a test mode that writes messages to the logs without sending them.
It runs in Docker behind Traefik, with Prometheus and Grafana monitoring and an end-to-end test suite that works on a real calendar without sending real messages.
