Home Assistant × BMW Motorrad
A Home Assistant integration that brings a BMW motorcycle's data into the smart home (fuel, range, mileage, tyres, service and last position), even on bikes without a SIM.

I wanted to see my motorcycle in Home Assistant like any other device in the house: how much fuel it has, how many kilometres to the next service, where I left it.
Features
The integration reads data from the BMW ConnectedRide cloud and exposes it as Home Assistant entities:
- fuel level and remaining range;
- total mileage, trip meter and recorded distance;
- front and rear tyre pressure;
- kilometres and date of the next service;
- the bike's last position and the time of its last sync;
- an image of the model.
No extra hardware is needed. It also works on unconnected bikes with no SIM on board (mine is a 2019 F 750 GS), because it uses the data the BMW Motorrad Connected app uploads to the cloud every time the phone pairs with the bike.
It installs through HACS and is configured from the Home Assistant UI. BMW's login does not accept email and password over an API, so access uses a refresh token obtained once with an included script.
