E-commerce and ERP integration
I’m Felice Zingaro, and from Andria, in southern Italy, I connect WooCommerce and Shopify stores to ERP systems, warehouses and supplier catalogues, with custom Python scripts or WordPress plugins. Products, prices, stock and orders stay aligned with no manual entry. I work remotely with clients across Italy and abroad.
The problem
When the ERP and the store don’t talk to each other, someone copies prices and quantities by hand, and sooner or later the store sells something that is no longer in stock, or orders have to be re-entered into the ERP one by one. With several suppliers and thousands of items, manual updates stop being possible.
How I work
- Source analysisHow the data leaves the ERP or supplier (CSV, API, database), which price lists are needed, which pricing rules apply.
- MappingCategories, prices for consumers, resellers and distributors, mark-ups and exclusions. The connector for Gica Elettronica has over 300 rules.
- DevelopmentA script or plugin that updates only what changed, creates new products and withdraws those sold out or dropped from the catalogue.
- SchedulingSyncs at regular intervals, from every few minutes for stock to a full import every night.
- MonitoringLogs and alerts by Telegram or email, so an error never goes unnoticed.
Time and cost
Every project gets its own estimate. Time and cost depend mainly on:
- how many sources to connect and what format their data comes in;
- how many items and variants the catalogue has;
- whether data flows only to the store or also from orders back to the ERP;
- how often prices and stock need updating;
- how many pricing rules, categories and exclusions are needed.
